RETURN POLICY

Due to the nature of the business (made-to-measure), we do not accept returns. As a result, refunds are not provided. What we can do for you is provide all alterations where necessary. If we deem that the suit provided is not acceptable, not fit for purpose, then we will remake the suit. Please note that only an agent of Tailor On The Road can determine a suit not fit for purpose and cannot commit to Fit Guarantee.

Please contact us – [email protected] with any feedback where any unsatisfactory work is provided. However, all suit fittings undergo a Fit Guarantee where alterations (if any) are determined and fit is accepted.

FIT GUARANTEE

If you are totally dissatisfied with the fit of any Germaine Joseph Tailor On The Road made to measure and custom made garments, we are happy to provide you with alterations. A complete remake of any garments is conducted where the garment is ‘not fit for purpose’ – one where fit and performance is unsatisfactory.

REMAKE POLICY

A remake can only be approved by a Tailor On The Road team member only after assessing that a remake is the most viable option. If we determine it is a suit alterations near me or clothing alterations near me and can be performed by a local tailor (our trusted partners), the necessary arrangements will be scheduled accordingly.

A remake means that we will produce a new made to measure or custom garment for you. Please note that the same production time will adhere. In most cases garments will be dispatched after 16 (business) days.

Each customer is entitled to one complimentary remake on shirts, suiting, outerwear and shoes. All remakes are subject to fabric and other materials availability. Where the fabric is not available, an alternative fabric of equal or lesser value can be selected. However, no credits of difference can be provided.

Where the body of the customer changes from the measurements taken at the time of fitting before your garment was delivered, we are happy to update your profile to reflect the modifications. Tailor On The Road is not responsible for remaking your garment. We are also not responsible for the alteration cost.

Where remakes are approved, the garment which is not fit for purpose has to be returned to Tailor On The Road.

ALTERATION POLICY

Any clothing alterations to your garment are captured on the day of delivery. A try on is compulsory to assess the fit and performance of the garment. Suit alterations near me is not reimbursed. Alterations to any garment is performed by our trusted partners to maintain the performance.

Tailor On The Road covers alterations per product category and its maximum allowance as listed:

  • Shirts           $50
  • Trousers       $35
  • Jacket           $90
  • Outerwear    $125

After 30 days from delivery, any clothing alterations will be subject to a $50 call out fee.

NON-CUSTOM, READY TO WEAR GARMENTS & PRODUCTS – RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Garments and products that are not made to measure or custom made can be returned within 14 days. Returns and exchanges are subject to availability. If the garment or product is no longer in stock, an exchange of equal value or less can be performed in the same product category.

Tailor On The Road is unable to accept returns were garments or products have been altered, damaged or show signs of excessive wear.

Exchanges are can only be processed once the initial product is returned.

Ready to wear garments are products can only be exchanged for a different size.
